Key Technology BV is the manufacturer of optical inspection, transport and sorting machines for the food industry. We also say; If Key can't do it, nobody can! Our goal is to be the ultimate partner in the food processing industry.

We serve customers throughout the EMEA/ASIA market (Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia). Key Technology BV is based in Beusichem (NL) and has sister companies in Hasselt (BE) and Walla Walla (USA), all part of the Duravant Group.

The position:

The Layout Specialist is responsible for creating sales drawings in 3D for the Sales (Engineering) department. In this you translate the technical needs of the customer into sales drawings. Not only your knowledge of engineering is addressed but also your creativity, communication skills and team spirit are very important in this position!

Your tasks:

• If necessary, making a 3D scan of the environment with our own 3D scanner.
• Preparing3D sales drawings of machines and processing lines.
• Creating 3D start-up models of our equipment.
• Working with the Sales Engineer to identify customers' technical needs and find solutions.

To perform your duties well, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

• You are good at analyzing the needs of our customers.
• You are solution-oriented and have conceptual thinking skills.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You want to see your own work directly reflected in our own workshop and installed at our customers.
• Willing to travel within EMEA.

Do you have the following qualifications and skills:

• MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or HBO degree in the direction of WTB.
• This position is ideal for starters or professionals with < 5 years of work experience who want to develop further within our industry.

Furthermore, you have knowledge of:

• 3D drawing package, Solid Works and NavisWorks is a plus.
• Microsoft software; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English in word and writing.
• Knowledge of machinery, such as vibratory and belt conveyor systems and/or optical inspection equipment is a plus.
