Your Role

As HR & Absenteeism Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for all matters related to absenteeism, vitality, and HR support. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Netherlands and Belgium and play a vital role in creating a healthy and safe work environment. This position offers a clear growth path toward becoming HR Manager in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze absenteeism processes.
  • Advise managers and employees on health, well-being, and sustainable employability.
  • Develop and implement vitality programs and preventive initiatives.
  • Liaise with occupational health professionals and external partners.
  • Organize training and development programs.
  • Apply for training subsidies.
  • Support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, and personnel administration.
  • Gradually take over responsibilities from the current Director of HR.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM or equivalent; additional certification in absenteeism management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in absenteeism and HR advisory roles.
  • Excellent command of Dutch (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills.
  • Proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
