The role:

Daily duties: As a Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for shipping sales orders of equipment and parts to our customers on a daily basis, as well as importing goods.

Team: You will work together with 2 colleagues at the office in Beusichem where you will also sit with other departments.

Your tasks:

• Handling export documents (Order Processing).
• Provide support to Supply Chain Manager in the following tasks:

Timely shipments

Holding shipments

Advise purchasing on shipments

Support Cost Reduction teams.

• Provide information and expertise on delivery terms and cost implications for quotations and orders to internal/external customers.
• Advise on procurement of transport, packaging and logistics services.
• Cost analysis and selection of carriers.
• Improving and optimising packaging and transport
• Central registration of packaging and transport orders

To be successful as a Logistics Officer, you will have the following education, experience and attributes:

• Completed MBO education preferably in the field of Logistics
• Affinity with logistics processes and handling export documents.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX)
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
• Well-developed administrative skills.

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
