The role:

As a Technical Purchaser, your responsibilities include the timely procurement of goods and services. You will work closely with other departments and maintain contact with our suppliers. Within this position, you will make a positive contribution to Key Technology's activities and suggest improvements wherever possible. With your decisive and service-oriented approach, you ensure that the purchased goods are delivered on time and that the supply chain is not delayed.

You work in a team with other (technical) buyers at the office in Beusichem or possibly partly at home and will sometimes have to travel to (potential) suppliers.

Your tasks:

• Finding, qualifying and outsourcing semi-finished products from new suppliers at national and international level
• The correct and timely procurement and/or outsourcing of goods and services
• Timely delivery of purchased goods and services
• Reducing costs
• Supply chain management

To be successful as a Technical Purchaser, you will have the following education, experience and attributes:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience and preferably at least an education MTS Mechanical Engineering, Retail, WTB or similar
• Knowledge of ERP systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
• Able to analyse and interpret general company charts, trade journals, technical procedures or government regulations
• Good negotiation skills
• Good language skills in both English and Dutch in word and writing
