The role:

The Supervisor AIS Assembly works in the department AIS Assembly which is part of the Operations department in Beusichem. As Supervisor AIS Assembly you are daily responsible for managing and supervising the AIS Assembly employees as well as cooperating with all related activities. The AIS assembly department is responsible for assembling the semi-finished products, especially the cabling and sub-assemblies of our optical sorting machine (AIS -Automatic Inspection Systems). You do this on the basis of the supplied working drawings. It is important to work precisely and that the finishing and dimensions are within the tolerances. The team consists of 7 to 10 persons in which everyone is responsible for his own project.

 

Your tasks:

  • Determine the division of labor within the department and in this ensure optimal utilization;
  • Giving advice to improve performance, safety, reliability, efficiency where possible or simplify assembly;
  • Responsible for final acceptance and approval of operational machines and sub assemblies;
  • All common duties in the AIS assembly department to process materials;
  • Testing and troubleshooting all products in the work area;
  • Keeping track of hours worked on time cards;
  • Maintaining plan lists through status changes on plan list;
  • Responsible for compliance with safety instructions and wearing personal protective equipment within the team, creating awareness of applicable rules and procedures.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace;
  • Maintain 6S Process.

 

To perform your duties well, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

  • Secondary technical or vocational education (preferably Electrical Mechanics);
  • Leadership skills and demonstrated experience in managing a team;
  • Drawing reading/ Electrical schematics reading;
  • Computer skills, Excel, AX, Outlook, Acrobat Reader;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Hands on mentality;
  • Stress resistant;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
  • Command of the English language;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
